We are thrilled to honor Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Danielle McFadden. Danielle McFadden is a lifelong Lowell resident. She has proudly served as President and CEO of the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce since 2011. An active member of the Greater Lowell community and within the Chamber industry, Danielle sits on over half a dozen boards including Merrimack Valley Food Bank (Vice President), MassHire Greater Lowell Workforce Board (Acting Chair), Massachusetts Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (serving as President in 2020) and the New England Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. She also serves as President of the Pawtucketville Memorial Elementary School PTO where her three kids (Zoe, Landry and Milo) attend school. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Westfield State University and a Master of Arts degree in Community Social Psychology from UMASS Lowell. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys spending time with her kids (crafts and dance parties a must), going to York Beach and yes, the not-so-occasional Netflix binge!
The Salvation Army is synonymous with the Christmas season and many people give to the red kettles knowing it will directly help those in need. The Christmas Castle began as a way to provide a central location where families could receive food, clothing, and gifts during the holidays. Last year 1,394 children received toys, clothing, and winter supplies and 980 food baskets were distributed for Thanksgiving and Christmas. These families may not have had a Christmas without the generous support of our donors. Each year this breakfast kicks off The Salvation Army’s Christmas fundraising campaign in Greater Lowell. The funds collected at Christmas are essential to our seasonal relief efforts, but also help sustain our year-round programs. We anticipate that this year even more families will be seeking help from The Salvation Army and your support is crucial in meeting that need!
